About the role

This role sits between customers and the engineering team. You'll onboard design-partner accounts, debug their pipelines alongside them, and translate the recurring patterns into product changes — not into a backlog of one-off scripts. If you love the warehouse layer and you're tired of writing the same custom integration twice, this is the role.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical onboarding for new design-partner customers.
  • Debug live syncs against Redshift, BigQuery, and customer warehouses; fix or escalate root causes.
  • Convert recurring customer pain into prioritized engineering work — be the loop, not the buffer.
  • Own the runbook and feedback channel between Customer Engineering and Product / Engineering.
  • Help shape the pricing and packaging story by grounding it in real customer behavior.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years working hands-on with analytics warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake) in production.
  • Strong SQL and dbt fluency — you can read and write moderately complex models without flinching.
  • Comfortable in a customer-facing role — clear writing, calm under pressure, allergic to BS.
  • Engineering background: you can read TypeScript and contribute small fixes / scripts yourself.

Nice to haves

  • Prior experience at an ELT, ETL, or analytics-engineering company.
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Mode, Hex, Metabase).
  • Experience writing public-facing technical content.

Compensation & benefits

$140K – $180K + equity. Salary bands are honest — the range above is what we'll actually pay, anchored on level and location. Plus:

  • Meaningful early-stage equity (4-year vest, 1-year cliff).
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage (US) or local equivalent (EU).
  • Home-office stipend and annual learning budget.
  • Four weeks of vacation, plus the week between Christmas and New Year.
  • Twice-yearly team offsites.
