About the role

StreamFlows moves data from operational systems into analytics warehouses without the ceremony of legacy ETL. Connectors are the product. We're looking for an engineer who treats integrations as first-class software: typed, tested, observable, and built to survive real-world API quirks. You'll set the patterns the rest of the team builds on for years.

What you'll do

  • Design and ship new source connectors (databases first, ad platforms next) against our shared Reader interface.
  • Harden the connector framework: retries, pagination contracts, schema discovery, incremental cursors.
  • Own correctness end-to-end — integration tests against real sandboxes, not just mocks.
  • Pair with the Data Platform Engineer to turn customer pain into framework primitives instead of one-off patches.
  • Write the runbooks and operator-facing docs for every connector you ship.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of production TypeScript or Node.js, with deep comfort in Postgres and HTTP APIs.
  • Shipped or maintained data integrations in production (ETL, reverse-ETL, CDC, or similar).
  • Pragmatic about retries, idempotency, and at-least-once semantics — you've debugged the hard cases.
  • Comfortable owning a slice end-to-end: schema, code, tests, observability, docs.

Nice to haves

  • Experience with Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar columnar warehouses.
  • OAuth 2.0 and token-refresh experience across multiple ad platforms.
  • Open-source contributions to a connector or integration framework.

Compensation & benefits

$160K – $210K + equity. Salary bands are honest — the range above is what we'll actually pay, anchored on level and location. Plus:

  • Meaningful early-stage equity (4-year vest, 1-year cliff).
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage (US) or local equivalent (EU).
  • Home-office stipend and annual learning budget.
  • Four weeks of vacation, plus the week between Christmas and New Year.
  • Twice-yearly team offsites.
